Contest Farm Find Spam Free Contests

Introduction:

Your privacy is important to us. We use information collected on Contest Farm only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected on Contest Farm and does not apply to its advertisers, affiliates, or associated companies.

Collecting Information:

Contest Farm collects information about its users. The information collected at registration includes users handle, and email address. Your handle is used to identify you on the site and if we need to contact you. You email address is used to contact you only when you request contact, such as through our newsletter or when you create content on the site. Other personal information may be collected, but is optional. The user can always remove it and no log of that information is kept by Contest Farm.

We may also collect information about your IP address, browser and other information. This information is used for security and statistical information only.

We do use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable Contest Farm to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies do have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Advertising appearing on our Web site may collect your IP address, browser and other information. Contest Farm is not responsible for what information our advertisers collect. If you are worried about the information a specific advertiser is collecting, please report this in our contact form and we will look into it. If the information collected does not comply with the Contest Farms policies we will terminate our relationship with that advertiser.

Information Usage:

Collected information will be used for statistical and security uses only. We will never sell or allow another company to use any of your information from our site. We may share non-personal information with third parties for statistical purposes. This information will not include any personal information such as name or email address. In rare cases personal information may need to be shared with law enforcement.

Users can choose to be on our newsletter mailing lists. Users can unsubscribe from these lists at any time. The mailing list will never be shared with a third party.

Problem Resolution:

If a problem arises, you can contact us for resolution by using the contact form or emailing us at support_AT_contestfarm_DOT_com.

Changes to Policy:

This policy can be changed at any time. If the policy is changed a notice will be posted on our main page and we will give a two (2) week period for comments to be expressed via the contact form. Clarifications, typographical errors and other minor corrections will skip the two week review period.

Submitting Contests

Submitting a contest to Contest Farm is open to everyone. An anonymous submission can only be edited by the Contest Farm staff. If you want to be able to edit your contests, you must register as a user.

Spam Free Policy

We hate spam. We will not list contests that have a policy allowing them to sell their entrants email addresses. They can use advertisers to make a profit on your contest, but no selling of email addresses, or street addresses is allowed in contests that are listed on Contest Farm.

We also try to verify that our advertisers do not spam. We cannot control all of our advertisers (those served by Google for instance), but those we can control we will not allow to advertise if they have pro-spam policies.

Expiration of Contest

After the expiration of a contest, the contest is still listed in our database. It can be found in our archives, or linked to from other sites. It will not, however, appear in the browse features of the site.

Auditing Contests

We will periodically, through either automated or manual means, audit the contests listed in the system. If a contest is found to no longer be valid, the contest will be expired. If the contest is found to now allow spam, they will be deleted.

Errors in Entries

We do our best to make sure that the contests are spam free and our entries are correct. We can not, however, guarantee that we will not miss something. Be sure to read the policies of the contest you enter to double check that they do not do anything unsavory with your information. We are not responsible for any errors in the entries found on our site.
